Braden Shipley has settled nicely into his role in the D-backs' bullpen in the month of September, but on Wednesday he will make his first start in nearly three months. Shipley will take the mound in a spot start as Arizona closes out a three-game set with the Giants in the regular-season home finale at Chase Field.
