The description that Giants manager Bob Melvin gave Thursday morning was about the last one you want to hear during a season. Landen Roupp is headed back to San Francisco to get an MRI on his left knee, but he won't be alone. Right-handed prospect Blade Tidwell will also get an MRI on Thursday afternoon after he felt shoulder discomfort.
