The beginning of spring training marks the wind-down of what many view as an underwhelming offseason for the Giants.Last season’s acquisitions of Willy Adames in free agency and Rafael Devers via trade were splash hits for the Giants president of baseball operations Buster Posey. This year’s round of additions does not meet the same level of hype, leaving some fans frustrated. Posey, in an interview with KNBR’s “Murph and Markus,” acknowledged the fans’ concerns. “I think from a fan’s perspective, they want us to go out and sign every marquee free agent.
