Dana White should help expand the MMA beyond the UFC. Its crap his fighters dont get paid enough while Dana and the Fertitas pocket the profits.

Bisping is garbage. I hate that guy. I am glad he damn near almost got killed by Henderson. Finally shut his english accent **** talking ass up!

Looks like we're gonna have to wait until Silva knocks Bisping's teeth out. According to Silva's manager, this was just a rumor.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS this Friday, according to Dana White. They will be holding a press conference. A few of the news is about signing a contract with HBO (could be showing PRIDE fights) and the fall of Affliction promotions. Soon after Affliction ended their run, they signed a clothing sponsor deal with UFC. Not sure what else he will be announcing, but the signing of a few Affliction fighters would be awesome. Like the return of Vitor Belfort and hopefully, the debut of Fedor.

HUGE NEWS FOR THE UFC!!!!

Today was the teleconference that Dana White was holding and announced some major news.

THE RETURN OF VITOR BELFORT!!!!
Vitor Belfort will replace Dan Henderson in the light heavyweight match against Rich Franklin this September on UFC 103.

This leaves Henderson without an opponent and Dana White said that Hendo would be next in line for a title shot again Anderson Silva.

THE RETURN OF TITO ORTIZ

“Tito and I have history that pretty much everybody knows,” said White. “We have put all our differences aside, have squashed everything, and we’re ready to move forward. Tito Ortiz is still a guy that fans want to see fight, he just had back surgery, he’s getting back into training, he feels good and he’s ready to compete in the 205-pound division and take a shot at the title again. And Tito Ortiz will retire in the UFC.”

“I think time really cures everything,” said Ortiz. “Dana came to me and was a man of his word. He apologized to me for the things that he did prior, and for me, it (returning) was about competition. My fans deserve the best Tito Ortiz.”
His rumored return match is this winter against Mark Coleman.

Dana on Fedor and his management turning down the contract offer.

“To turn down a deal like this, you don’t care about proving you’re the best in the world, you don’t want to fight the best in the world, you don’t care about money,” continued an incredulous White. “There is no compromise on the co-promotion. Why would I let anybody come in and co-promote with us? This thing we built, the Fertittas risked all their money, all the things that we’ve done and busted our asses over for the ten years that we’ve been in this business, and these guys are gonna walk in and say ‘yeah, we’re gonna be in business with these guys.’

“I was so confident this was gonna happen,” he concluded. “I went into this thing with the attitude that we’re gonna make it happen. The fans really want to see this fight (Brock Lesnar vs Fedor), I want to see how good this guy really is against the best in the world, so let’s do this thing. It didn’t happen. But if they want to make a deal, they can call me right now and we can do it.”
