But doesn't Sanchez have more hits? I mean he played for the Pirates and they were hardly on base..so it's hard to get RBI's if no one is on base for him...I dunno I could be wrong..

I just read on yahoo that the Giants were one of the teams trying real hard to trade for Victor Martinez, whom the Indians want to trade, but since the Giants traded for Sanchez, it might not go through.

and couldnt we have gotten martinez for alderson?? :(

I heard on espn from Gammons the Sox may inquire on Martinez too.

Big Papi homered today but the slew of reporters who'll be surrounding him now may get into his head.

No. Cleveland would never have dont that straight up. Perhaps an Alderson-Barnes-Noonan would have done it.
